What do you clear?
We clear everything from domestic household rubbish and unwanted deceased effects to business waste. If there are any items we can dispose of safely and legally we will inform you prior to starting the job, we may ask to inspect the items and property in question.

Does Bournemouth and Poole House Clearance have insurance?
Yes, as with any other professional business we too have insurance. We hold a public liability insurance policy that is provided by Thistle Underwriting covering up-to £1,000,000. Full terms and conditions can be requested by writing to use.

What do you mean you dispose of household rubbish and commercial waste legally?
Any business offering an on-site service that involves in collecting household rubbish and commercial waste is legally required by UK law to hold a current waste carrier’s license issued by Environment Agency UK.

Do you buy unwanted quality items?
Yes, however we only accept quality goods as payment against the cost of the service. If the valuables exceed the cost of our labour, fuel and tipping fees then we will offer you cash for goods. Valuable metals such as gold and silver can also be used against the costs of our services.

Why can’t I find the pricing of your services online?
Each customer is different and the services we proud vary greatly from one property to another. We will ask you a set of questions over the phone or in email and then base a competitive quotation catered to meet your requirements. This way we can offer lower prices without having to play it safe.

Do you recycle?
Yes, we use local waste management companies in Dorset and Hampshire. We always try to recycle as much as possible.

What types of payment do you accept?
Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Paypal, Cash, Bank Transfer and insured cheques.

Do you provide invoices?
Yes, we can provide all businesses, sole traders and domestic customers with an invoice after the job has been completed. (Please let us know if you require an invoice prior to the clearance job being completed.

What happens if we discover a valuable when preforming a house clearance?
We will put that item aside and make you aware of it. You can then opt to keep the item or use it against the cost of our labour. We work with local 2nd hand shops to give you a good price on any quality used furniture and household items.

Can you provide me with a house clearance even when I’m not around?
Yes, we regularly work with customer’s properties without them being present. Simply provide us with the keys and were do all the hard work and ensure the property is safely locked up after we have completed our work.

Do you disconnect all electrical items?
Yes, we always disconnect electrical items from the wall sockets. We can also turn of the electric at the circuit breaker if requested to do so.

What times does your team work?
Our team is very flexible and we generally work from 8am to 6pm Monday to Fridays… However we do regularly provide services outside of normal work hours if requested to do so. We do not charge high premiums for requesting our team for weekend or evening work.

What areas do you provide services too?
We are based in Bournemouth and Poole but we provide servers to both residential and commercial customers in both Hampshire and Dorset, UK. If your area isn’t listed on our contact form please select other.

What happens to any discovered paperwork?
We generally will put all paperwork to one aside so you can determine what to do with it all, unless requested otherwise.

Can I pop in and take a look while your team is working?
Yes, it’s your property and we are your guests! We do however ask our customers to write down requests if they have plenty of them, that way our team knows what to do in advance.

Can you help me clear a 2nd property even if I’m located miles away?
Yes, all we need is your permission and the keys to the property. We will then do as you request and even provide pictures of the job completion.
